ZN85-40.5 Indoor Vacuum Circuit Breaker 33kV VCB

General Introduction

The ZN85-40.5 is a handcart-type indoor high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker with a rated voltage of 40.5kV (compatible with 33kV/35kV applications).

It adopts advanced vacuum arc-extinguishing technology and solid-embedded pole structure, with strong breaking capacity, high insulation level and long mechanical life.

The breaker is mainly used for control and protection of power equipment in power plants, substations, industrial and mining enterprises, and is especially suitable for occasions requiring frequent closing and opening operations.

Structural Features

1. Handcart-Type Design: Integrates breaker body and mobile chassis, equipped with lead screw nut propulsion device and overrunning clutch, enabling smooth movement and accurate positioning in KYN61-40.5 switchgear.
2. Solid-Embedded Pole: Each pole is sealed in epoxy resin insulating cylinder, forming composite insulation structure. It reduces overall size, improves electric field distribution and enhances protection against dust and moisture.
3. Reliable Spring Mechanism: Adopts dedicated spring energy storage mechanism with matched output curve, ensuring fast closing/opening, stable performance and maintenance-free operation up to 30,000 times.
4. Complete Interlock Protection: Equipped with mechanical interlock device to meet “five-prevention” requirements, preventing misoperation and ensuring personal and equipment safety.
