FXB long rod suspension composite insulator with silicone rubber housing and FRP core rod.
Available from 10kV to 500kV with excellent pollution resistance, lightweight design, and high mechanical strength for transmission and distribution lines.
FXB Long Rod Suspension Composite Insulator is a high-performance polymer insulator designed for overhead transmission and distribution lines.
It consists of a fiberglass reinforced epoxy (FRP) core rod, silicone rubber housing and sheds, and hot-dip galvanized steel end fittings.
Compared with traditional porcelain and glass insulators, FXB composite insulators offer lighter weight, superior pollution resistance, and higher mechanical strength.

The silicone rubber sheds provide excellent hydrophobicity and pollution resistance, maintaining insulation performance even under contaminated and wet conditions.
The fiberglass core delivers high tensile strength while maintaining lightweight characteristics and excellent electrical performance.
Forged steel fittings ensure secure mechanical connections and long-term reliability under heavy conductor loads.
The silicone rubber surface maintains hydrophobic properties, significantly reducing leakage current and flashover risk in polluted environments.
Typically 70–90% lighter than equivalent porcelain insulators, reducing transportation, installation, and maintenance costs.
Designed to withstand heavy conductor loads, wind loads, and mechanical stresses encountered in transmission systems.
Outstanding resistance to UV radiation, ozone, acid rain, salt fog, and temperature variations.
Unlike porcelain or glass insulators, composite insulators do not shatter, reducing maintenance risks and service interruptions.
