Información complementaria

Detalles del producto:

FXUW Dead-End Composite Insulator is a high-performance polymer tension insulator designed for overhead transmission and distribution lines.

It is primarily used at dead-end, angle, and tension positions where the conductor is subjected to significant mechanical loads.

The insulator consists of a fiberglass reinforced epoxy (FRP) core rod, high-temperature vulcanized (HTV) silicone rubber housing, and hot-dip galvanized forged steel end fittings, ensuring excellent electrical insulation and mechanical performance.

Características

1. Gran resistencia a la erosión y a la colisión.

2. Alta resistencia mecánica.

3. Estructura compacta y peso ligero.

Construction

Silicone Rubber Housing

The silicone rubber sheds provide excellent hydrophobicity, pollution resistance, and leakage current suppression, ensuring stable insulation performance under wet and contaminated conditions.

FRP Core Rod

The FRP rod serves as the load-bearing component, offering high tensile strength, low weight, and excellent resistance to fatigue and corrosion.

Forged Steel End Fittings

Hot-dip galvanized steel fittings provide reliable mechanical connections and excellent corrosion resistance for long-term outdoor service.

Aplicaciones

  • Overhead Transmission Lines
  • Distribution Networks
  • Dead-End Line Structures
  • Angle Towers and Poles
  • River Crossing Lines
  • Coastal and Industrial Areas
  • Railway Electrification Systems
  • Renewable Energy Grid Connections

Ventajas

High Mechanical Strength

Designed specifically for tension applications, FXUW insulators can withstand high conductor loads, wind loads, and ice loads encountered in transmission systems.

Superior Pollution Resistance

The hydrophobic silicone rubber surface minimizes contamination effects and reduces flashover risks in coastal, industrial, and desert environments.

Lightweight Construction

Up to 80% lighter than equivalent porcelain insulators, reducing transportation, handling, and installation costs.

Excellent Weather Resistance

Outstanding performance under UV exposure, ozone, salt fog, acid rain, and extreme temperature conditions.

Enhanced Operational Safety

Unlike porcelain insulators, composite insulators do not shatter, reducing maintenance risks and improving network reliability.
