RVO-6 U1 valve arresters are characterized by high efficiency, reliability in operation and no need for frequent maintenance. For long-term use of the devices, it is recommended to paint the heads of the bolts holding the flanges and lids so that ferruginous stains do not appear on the glaze of the porcelain lid. During periodic inspections of arresters, the surface of porcelain lids should be cleaned of dust, as its presence can lead to distortion of voltage distribution. An important advantage of the product is its competitive cost.
The main elements are non-linear resistors connected in series with spark gaps. They are reliably protected from the negative effects of the environment by a sealed porcelain case, which provides the necessary stability of the product characteristics.
