Introduction

OPN-P-10 RVO are used to protect electrical equipment of 10 kV AC networks from switching and lightning surges. Recommended for installation instead of valve arresters of the RVO series during the reconstruction of electrical installations.

The polymer body of the limiters is monolithic and sealed, made by casting, fireproof, tracking-resistant. The product is resistant to climatic and chemical influences. Marked with a method that does not allow separation of the marking.

Non-linear surge suppressors OPN-P-10 RVO UHL1 are operated at temperatures from -60 °С to +55 °С.

• The highest long-term permissible operating voltage Unr is 12.7 kV.

• Remaining voltage on the surge arrester with a current pulse of 8/20 µs with an amplitude of:
  • 2500 A – no more than 38.9 kV,
  • 5000 A – no more than 42.1 kV,
  • 10000 A – no more than 47.5 kV.
• The remaining voltage on the surge arrester with a pulse of 1/10 μs with an amplitude of the rated discharge current is not more than 43.5 kV.
• The specific dissipated energy under the influence of a rectangular current pulse of 2000 μs with an amplitude of 250 A is 1.9 kJ/kV.
• The length of the creepage distance of the outer insulation is at least 2.5 cm/kV.
• Full lightning impulse according to GOST 1516.2 – with an amplitude of 75 kV.
• 50 Hz one-minute test voltage dry and rainy – 28.0 kV rms
• The electrical strength of the outer insulation complies with the requirements of GOST R 52725.
• Explosion-proof current according to GOST R 52725 – 40 kA.
• The service life under the manufacturer’s warranty is 5 years.
• Estimated service life is 30 years.
• Limiter overall dimensions , height × diameter – 140 × 75 mm.
• Limiter weight – 1.3 ± 0.1 kg.
