The HRW12-12-5 12kV/15kV Polymer Fuse Cutout is a high-performance outdoor high-voltage protection device, specially designed for 10kV/12kV overhead distribution lines and distribution transformers. Different from traditional porcelain fuse cutouts, it adopts a high-quality polymer insulator housing, which has the advantages of light weight, corrosion resistance, anti-pollution and UV resistance, and is more suitable for harsh outdoor environments such as coastal salt fog, mountainous strong wind and high-pollution areas. As a cost-effective and reliable protection solution, it is widely used in rural and suburban power grids, industrial and mining enterprises, distributed power generation systems (such as photovoltaic and wind power), and can effectively protect power equipment from overload and short-circuit faults.​

Installation Notes

  • The installation shall be carried out by professional electricians who have obtained relevant operation certificates to ensure safe operation and avoid electric shock accidents.
  • When installing, the axis of the fuse tube shall form an angle of 25°±2° with the vertical line, and the contact pressure shall be calibrated to 80-120N to ensure good contact and avoid poor contact caused by loose installation.
  • The distance between two phases shall not be less than 300mm, and the vertical distance from the ground shall be more than 5.5m to meet the safety distance requirement and prevent accidental contact.
  • The lead wire shall adopt copper-aluminum transition terminal, the cross-sectional area of copper core lead wire shall not be less than 35mm², and the surface of the terminal shall be coated with power composite grease to reduce contact resistance and prevent oxidation.
